As we enter the new year, Ayjay Group will be ramping up our #AyjayChallenge25 fundraising campaign, as we look to raise vital funds for our three chosen charities – The RNLI, St. David’s Hospice Care, and The Prince’s Trust. We were overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of our staff, friends and families who have seen us raise more than £4000 in three months.

With such positive feedback and engagement, Ayjay Directors decided before the festive break that the target total would be increased to £12,500, and with some creative event suggestions already coming in this year, we are confident of surpassing this target also.

We have already announced the first event of 2022, with our friends CB Refrigeration joining us for Quizmas. Headed up by Quiz Master and CB Technical Consultant Nick Franzen, the quiz will see colleagues go head-to-head in the ultimate battle of brains, as we look to secure bragging rights at Ayjay House.

We also caught up with Project Manager Paul Beament, who has kickstarted his training regime as he looks to tackle the Saundersfoot Triathlon this September, alongside Technical Director Craig Price and Contracts Manager Anthony Daisley. The trio will be pushing themselves to the limit as they look to raise vital funds for our three chosen charities.

Paul commented: “The triathlon will be a real test for us all, but we have started our training and have started to make really positive steps. This is something we’ve not done before but we are all excited and know that everything we raise will be going to three amazing charities.

“Craig braved the cold over Christmas for some sea swimming, and I know Anthony is a keen gym-goer, so we are a pretty strong team. Having relocated to South Wales before Christmas I didn’t have time to regularly go to tackle the three disciplines, but this year I am driven to really attack the training and put in a good performance in Saundersfoot.”
